Weather: High Temperatures and Strong Winds Expected

Seasonal low pressure is affecting the region, with temperatures remaining close to average climatological values. Strong winds will blow in the afternoon hours.
Today, the weather will be mainly clear, but in the afternoon there will be locally increased cloud cover in the mountains. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the afternoon on the windward coasts up to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. In the southeastern coasts, however, they will blow temporarily up to very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will rise to 37 degrees Celsius inland, 32 on the west coast, around 35 on the other coasts and 28 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the weather will be mainly clear, but in the afternoon hours there will be locally increased cloud cover. On Wednesday, isolated rains may occur in the mountains. The temperature on Wednesday will rise slightly.
