Weather: Temporary Instability and Cold Air Mass in Cyprus

An unstable air mass is temporarily affecting the region of Cyprus. A cold air mass is expected to affect Cyprus from Thursday.

Today, the weather will be mainly clear. In the afternoon, locally increased cloud cover will be observed, with a possibility of isolated rain, mainly in the mountains.

The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and later on the southern coast up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough and gradually locally rough.

The temperature will rise to 19 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast and to 9 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.
