Landslides on Kampou – Orkontas Road Due to Rainfall

Landslides of soil and rocks have occurred on the Kampou – Orkontas road following heavy rainfall. One lane of traffic was temporarily closed, with traffic regulated by the second lane.

The Police, in collaboration with local authorities, are working to clear the road. Due to weather conditions, drivers are urged to be careful in mountainous and semi-mountainous areas, where rock and soil falls are observed.

Drivers are advised to maintain safe distances and keep their headlights on.
