Lump Sum Payments to Fire Victims: Process Completion

As of yesterday, lump sum payments have been made to 86 beneficiaries, and the process is expected to be completed by next Monday or Tuesday, according to the Commissioner for the Development of Mountain Regions, Charalambos Christofinas.

Mr. Christofinas mentioned that in cooperation with the Environment Service, skips have been placed in various communities, with initiatives to clean up public spaces.

Regarding the situation, Mr. Christofinas stated that it has improved, with electricity supply having increased and the Water Development Department working to repair damages. Electricity supply is expected to reach almost 100% by the end of next week.

Additionally, the Department of Agriculture is recording damages to properties and agricultural machinery in the affected communities.
