Carnival Parade in Paphos Municipality Celebrates Success

The carnival parade of floats and groups in Paphos Municipality was a great success. A large crowd participated in the events, which included music, dance, and imaginative costumes.

The parade was presented by Rikkos Ioannou and Irene Tsiaukka, while the opening was marked by the Municipality's majorettes under the guidance of Diamanto Neophytou. This was followed by the Municipality's float with the Carnival King "Fantaros ton ergon", flanked by Mayor Yiotis Papachristofi and Queen Dimitra Goulielmou.

The first prize was won by the team of the Municipal District of Drouseia, the second by the team of the Municipal District of Neo Chorio, and the third by the Prodromi Community Kindergarten.

After the parade, a carnival party followed in the Town Hall square.
