Bad Weather in Paphos: Fallen Trees and Floods

The Fire Service responded to four incidents in the Paphos district due to bad weather. The incidents included a fallen tree in the Polemi community, a EAC pole falling on a vehicle in Geroskipou, removal of zinc sheets in Kissonerga, and a flooded road in the city of Paphos.

According to the Fire Service, at 03:58 they responded to a fallen tree on a road in the Polemi community, while at 06:33 a EAC pole fell on a vehicle in Geroskipou. At 07:18, in Kissonerga, they removed zinc sheets, and at 07:29 they intervened on a flooded road in Paphos.

The Police announced landslides on the Limassol - Paphos highway, between Paramali - Sotira, and water accumulation. Drivers are urged to be careful.

The Fire Service remains on high alert.
