Limassol Wine Festival Begins: This Year Also in Fire-Stricken Malia

The 64th Wine Festival will take place in Limassol from September 27th to October 5th, 2025. The Mayor of Limassol, Yiannis Armeftis, announced that this year's event will include innovations and a renewed setting.

At the 'vrakas' placement ceremony, Mr. Armeftis emphasized the connection of the festival with the Cypriot countryside, especially after the fires in the Krasochoria region. Events will also be held in Malia and Kalo Chorio.

The program includes concerts, theatrical performances, and satirical events with artists from Cyprus and Greece. The goal is for attendance to exceed last year's records.
