Glyfada: Tension During Eviction of Family with Cancer Patient

Tension arose in Glyfada during the eviction of a family of four from their home on Chiou Street. Police forces, a bailiff, and citizens supporting the family were present at the scene.

The family, consisting of a mother, a father with a stroke, a daughter with cancer, and her infant, faces financial difficulties following the daughter's diagnosis. They claim they were regularly paying the loan until the illness occurred.

Alexis Stefanidis, head of the Popular Rally of Glyfada, stated that the eviction attempt is an anti-popular act and expressed his opposition. Appeals are being made to the loan management company, but without response.
