The Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) expressed its appreciation to the Federal Republic of Germany for its financial contribution of €200,000.

Since 2006, Germany's total contribution amounts to €1.16 million. The donation will contribute to the Committee's goal of identifying and returning the remains of missing persons by 2025.

To date, 1,063 missing persons from both communities in Cyprus have been identified and returned to their families.

The CMP relies on donor support to implement its work.
