Archbishop of Cyprus George has expressed his deep shock at the deadly fire affecting Cyprus. In a statement, he expressed his sorrow for the loss of life, the injured, and those who lost their homes and property.

The Archbishop emphasized the need for a calm response to the situation and the provision of support to those affected. He also expressed his support for the Fire Service, the Police, medical and nursing staff, Civil Defense, and volunteers.
