Rain, Snow and Temperature Drop Coming to Cyprus

Significant weather changes are expected in Cyprus, with a noticeable drop in temperature, according to meteorologist Michalis Mouskos.

Today (February 26), maximum temperatures will reach 16°C inland and 17-18°C on the coast. Tonight, a temperature drop is expected, with 5°C inland, 6°C on the coast, and -3°C in the mountains.

Friday is expected to be the coldest day, with the maximum temperature not exceeding 14°C inland. Light rain or light snowfall may occur in the mountains above 600-700 meters.

The weather will be generally clear on Saturday and Sunday, with a chance of isolated rain or snowfall in the mountains. From Saturday, the temperature will gradually rise.

Mr. Mouskos noted that rainfall for February reached 91% of normal, but the situation in the dams remains worrying.
