Millions of Euros Worth of Projects in Dromolaxia-Meneou Municipality

Projects worth millions of euros are underway or planned in the Municipality of Dromolaxia-Meneou, as stated by Mayor Kypros Andronikou to CYNEWS. These include the Multifunctional Center in Meneou, the Sports Park in Dromolaxia, the Tremythos Linear Park in Kiti, and the Belogiannis Park in Pervolia.

The Multifunctional Center in Meneou, costing approximately 3 million euros from European funds, is expected to be completed next year and will host events, lectures, and seminars. The Municipal Library in Dromolaxia, with new facilities, opened on January 5th.

The Sports Park in Dromolaxia, which will include a futsal field, walking paths, and exercise equipment, costing approximately 700 thousand euros, is in the licensing stage. The energy upgrade of the Municipality's stadiums with photovoltaics is also progressing.

In Kiti, the renovation of the old Community Council building for cultural events, the upgrade of three futsal and basketball courts, and the costing of the Tremythos Linear Park are underway. In Pervolia, the Belogiannis Park next to the coastal pedestrian street is progressing, while in Tersefanou, the renovation of the former SPE Offices and the redevelopment of the community core are underway.
