Flood Protection Projects Planned for Fire-Affected Areas

The Water Development Department (WDD) announced the complete restoration of water supply to all fire-affected communities and the commencement of planning for flood protection projects in the affected areas.

According to the WDD, teams remain in the areas to address any new problems. The identification of intervention points has been completed, and tenders have been announced for the supply of materials.

Furthermore, from August 1st, a 100% funding scheme is being implemented for generators in fire-affected communities and 80% for other communities.
