KEDE Delegation Visits Municipality of Orestiada

A delegation from the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE), led by President Lazaros Kyrizoglou, visited the Municipality of Orestiada on November 4th. The visit was part of KEDE's tour in anticipation of the annual conference in Alexandroupolis, which begins on November 6th.

The delegation, consisting of Lazaros Kyrizoglou, General Secretary Dimitrios Kafantaris, Michalis Karamanlakis, and KEDE officials, met with the Mayor of Orestiada, Adamantios Papadopoulos, as well as Deputy Mayors Gililoudi Christina and Margariti Asteriadi.

The meeting discussed issues concerning the Municipality of Orestiada and the specific characteristics of the Northern Evros region. The Mayor emphasized the strategic role of the city and the need to support the border municipalities.
