Dangerously Low Water Flow into Cyprus Dams

Water inflow into dams is at dangerously low levels, according to the Water Development Department.
Speaking to CYBC, Marios Hatzikostis, a technical engineer at the Department, described the situation as tragic.
He pointed out that from October 1st to date, the total flow amounts to only 1.7 million cubic meters, an amount considered insignificant. He added that as water consumption remains greater than inflow, water reserves are decreasing further.
