Nicosia: Juvenile Facility Incident, Attack on Police Officer

An incident occurred at a facility for unaccompanied foreign minors in Nicosia. According to the Cyprus Times, the minors were involved in clashes and allegedly threw stones.

Police forces intervened to restore order. One minor was arrested for attacking a police officer. A complaint is also expected from a center employee.

Additionally, another minor from the same facility was arrested for involvement in previous incidents in Larnaca. Authorities are continuing their investigations.
