Repatriation of Cypriots: Five Flights from Middle East

Five flights, one chartered and four commercial, carried a total of 213 people to Cyprus from Middle Eastern countries. The flights were organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the safe repatriation of Cypriot citizens due to the current developments in the region.

The Cyprus Airways chartered flight from Dubai carried 182 Cypriot citizens. In addition, commercial flights from Gulf Air (Dammam), TUS Airways (Tampa), and Aegean Airlines (Muscat, via Athens) carried additional Cypriot citizens.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to the Greek authorities for their cooperation. The repatriated citizens thanked the government for the repatriation efforts.

Theodoros Gotsis, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that repatriation efforts will continue.
