Tsiknopempti Celebrated with Traditional Cheer in Paphos

Tsiknopempti was enthusiastically celebrated in Paphos, with plenty of grilled meat and traditional festivities in neighborhoods, squares, and workplaces.

Young and old enjoyed souvlaki, sausages, and sieftalies, while the city was filled with music, dancing, and carnival costumes.

Shopkeepers and local organizations contributed to the celebrations by offering treats and organizing events.

Acting Mayor Angelos Onisiforou visited the Kato Paphos and Paphos Adult Centers, as well as the Zeta Emilianidou Multipurpose Social Welfare Center, exchanging wishes with members and staff.

The day highlighted the importance of preserving Cypriot traditions and social contribution.
