Paphos EOA: "Cleaning Works" at Sea Caves

The Paphos District Self-Government Organisation (EOA) announced that the works in the sea caves area involved the cleaning of an agricultural plot. According to the President of Paphos EOA, Charalambos Pittokopitis, the works were carried out by the owner of the plot approximately four months ago.

Mr. Pittokopitis told CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY (CYPE) that a team from the Paphos EOA visited the area and found that no work was being carried out. The owner had cultivated almonds in the past, but the field was abandoned. She proceeded to clear the bushes and damaged almond trees to restore the field to agricultural use.

Mr. Pittokopitis noted that the works were of a small scale and did not require a permit from the Town Planning Department. The Paphos EOA will carry out regular inspections in the area.
