The Famagusta District Self-Government Organization (EOA) has submitted a proposal to the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy to upgrade the 'Hippodamus' system.

The proposal, initiated by the EOA President, Yiannis Karousos, aims to improve transparency and provide citizens with direct information regarding the progress of their applications.

Specifically, it proposes adding a special field to the system where applicants' contact details will be registered, so they can automatically receive notifications about any developments related to their application.

Mr. Karousos stated that the goal is to provide citizens with timely and well-documented information, independent of third parties, by leveraging technology.

The proposal is supported by the other EOA Presidents and aligns with best practices, such as the electronic tracking of applications offered by AHK.

The Famagusta EOA has sent a letter to the Deputy Ministry, emphasizing the need for immediate advancement of technical changes, considering the upgrade a substantial investment in the quality of services to citizens.
