Bus passage to Kokkina via Limnitis begins

The passage of small buses from the occupied territories, through the Limnitis checkpoint, to Kokkina began after 07:00 this morning.
The buses are transporting people for the annual memorial events for the bombings of Tillyria by the Turkish air force. According to Andreas Karos, President of the Committee for the opening of the Tillyria checkpoints, about 50 buses with 900-1000 people are expected to pass.
The passage is escorted by vehicles of the UN peacekeeping force (UNFICYP) and is expected to be completed shortly after 09:00. Initially, the first small buses and two media vehicles from the occupied territories passed through.
