Cyprus Weather Alert: Temperatures to Reach 33°C – Kitas Weather Forecast

Unusually high temperatures persist in Cyprus, with Kitas Weather warning of an exceptionally warm air mass affecting the island on Wednesday and Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to reach 32-33°C, with a drop expected on Friday, although the mercury will remain above normal levels, just below 30°C.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, there will be few high and medium clouds, with locally increased cloud cover in the mountains. The temperature will be 4-8 degrees Celsius above normal, reaching 29 to 32 degrees Celsius in inland plains and coastal areas, and locally up to 33 degrees Celsius on the southern coast, while in Chionistra it will be around 20 degrees Celsius.

On Thursday, no particular change in the weather is expected, with partly cloudy weather from medium and high clouds and locally increased cloud cover in the mountains. The temperature will rise slightly further, reaching around 5-9 degrees Celsius above normal for the season, with 30 to 33 degrees Celsius in inland plains, 28 to 31 degrees Celsius on the coast and around 20 degrees Celsius in Chionistra.
