Weather Alert: High Temperatures Today, July 22

The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow alert for today, July 22, 2025, due to high temperatures. The alert is in effect from 12:00 to 17:00.

The weather will be mainly clear, but in the afternoon and early evening, locally increased cloud cover is expected, with a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the mountains.

Winds will be light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

The temperature will reach 41 degrees Celsius inland, 35 on the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, and 33 on the western coasts and higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear with light winds. The temperature will drop to 24 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and 22 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.
