Pro-Palestine Protest in Larnaca – Police on Alert

The group “FREE FREE PALESTINE” is organizing a protest today in Larnaca, starting at 7:00 PM in Europe Square, on Athinon Avenue. Following speeches, participants will march towards the Church of Saint Lazarus.

Police will be present to ensure the peaceful conduct of the event and to regulate traffic. Participants are asked to comply with police instructions.

According to the Public Gatherings and Processions Law 151(I)/2025, the organizer is responsible for the smooth running of the event and must cooperate with the authorities. The police have the right to impose restrictions or dissolve the gathering if the terms are violated or safety is endangered.

Police may also ask individuals covering their features to remove the means of disguise.
