Farmers Protest Foot-and-Mouth Disease Response in Nicosia

Farmers staged a protest on Sunday at the entrance of Nicosia (Kalispéra lights), expressing their opposition to the government's handling of the foot-and-mouth disease and the culling of animals.

The protesters gathered at the GSP stadium and headed towards the Ministry of Agriculture, holding banners and chanting slogans.

Traffic has been restored, with police present to regulate traffic flow.
