Water Supply Issues in Nicosia: Problems Persist

Despite the EOA's announcement of a repair, residents in Nicosia report continued water supply problems.

Yesterday, the water supply was disrupted in areas of the Municipality of Lakatamia (districts of Lakatamia, Tseriou, Anthoupolis) and the community of Ergates due to damage to a water pipe of the Water Development Department.

According to the EOA, a power outage at the central pumping station caused a further delay in restoring the water supply. Efforts are continuing with the aim of full restoration by the end of the day.
