Water Interruption in Nicosia Areas Due to Damage

Water supply interruption is affecting areas of Strovolos, Latsia, and Platy Aglantzias in Nicosia, due to a serious damage to a central water supply pipeline.

According to the Municipality of Strovolos, the interruption is due to a rupture of a central pipeline on Nikos Georgiou street. Crews are working to repair the damage.

The damage affects Strovolos, Latsia (from Agios Georgios church to Nicosia General Hospital), and the Platy Aglantzias area.

Water supply is expected to be restored late in the afternoon. Authorities are working for the fastest possible restoration.
