Delivery and Construction Halt Due to Orange Warning

Due to the orange warning for extreme heat issued by the Department of Meteorology, the Department of Labor Inspection (DLI) announced that outdoor heavy and moderate work, as well as product delivery services using two-wheeled vehicles or personal mobility devices, must be suspended between 12:00-16:00.
The warning applies to areas below 300 meters altitude (more than 10 km from the coastline) and mountainous areas above 1150 meters.
For other cases, the DLI reminds of the need to measure thermal load parameters and adjust work accordingly, as well as take measures such as frequent breaks, provision of cool water, and appropriate headgear.
In temperature conditions of 39°C to 46°C, work must be stopped depending on the relative humidity and the type of work.
For more information, interested parties can visit the DLI website or contact the local District Offices.
