Weather Update: High Temperatures in Cyprus, 14/08/25

Seasonal low pressure and a warm air mass are affecting the region.

Afternoon: Mainly clear and hot. Winds southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, occasionally strong, 5 Beaufort. Sea slightly rough, gradually becoming rough in the west. Temperatures will rise to 45 degrees Celsius inland, 38 on the south and east coasts, 35 on the west and north coasts, and 37 degrees in the higher mountains.

Evening: Mainly clear. Winds mainly northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. Sea slightly rough in the east and south, rough in the west and north. Temperatures will drop to 28 degrees Celsius inland, 26 on the coasts, and 23 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tomorrow: Mainly clear and hot. Winds mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, in the afternoon moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. Sea slightly rough to rough. Temperatures will rise to 41 degrees Celsius inland, 35 on the east, south and west coasts, and 33 degrees on the north coasts and in the higher mountains.

Weekend and Monday: Mainly clear, with occasional local cloud increases. Temperatures will drop on Saturday and remain at the same levels on Sunday and Monday.
