Scandro Holdings Ltd has issued a statement regarding the tragic death of a passenger on the ship Daleela, shortly before its arrival in Limassol on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

According to the announcement, a passenger suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during the journey from Piraeus. The ship's doctor provided immediate medical care, but the passenger could not be saved.

The company denies reports of a lack of medical equipment, emphasizing that the ship has the necessary equipment, including a defibrillator.
