Power Restored to Fire-Affected Communities in Limassol

Work continues to restore the electricity network in the fire-stricken areas of the Limassol district. According to the Deputy Spokesperson of the EAC, Dimitris Nathanael, crews have begun work in the communities of Doros and Agios Georgios Sylikou.

45 poles and 5 transformers have been replaced, and 2.5 km of new overhead medium voltage network have been constructed. Additionally, 57 poles that were dangerously exposed due to the fire have been removed.

Despite the flare-ups, work continues as normal.
