Former Cypriot Army Officer Takis Tsaggaris Passes Away

Takis Tsaggaris, a former officer of the Cypriot Army and a member of the Reserve Corps, has passed away.
Takis Tsaggaris served as commander of the Third Company and senior deputy police chief during the coup and invasion period, and wrote the book 'My Testimony 1955-1974'.
In a post on the 'X' platform, Viktoras Papadopoulos described him as 'a valiant soldier and fighter for the freedom of Cyprus'.
