Spring Weather Continues: Showers and Temperature Rise

A weak low pressure system is affecting the region. According to the Department of Meteorology, on Tuesday (5/5), the weather will be partly cloudy with possible isolated showers on the coast. In the afternoon, clouds are expected to develop, bringing isolated showers and a possible thunderstorm, mainly in the mountains and the eastern half of the island.
Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, with temporary gusts on the west and south coasts. The temperature will rise to around 20 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and to 8 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday (6/5), isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountains and inland. On Thursday (7/5) and Friday (8/5), the weather will be generally clear, with a gradual noticeable rise in temperature.
The snow height at Chionistra was 15 centimeters at the time of issue.
