Rizoelia Roundabout Reopens After Livestock Farmers' Protest

Traffic has resumed at the Rizoelia roundabout following a lengthy protest by livestock farmers. The farmers were protesting the culling of animals due to foot-and-mouth disease.

According to the Police, traffic flow is now normal. The livestock farmers had warned of escalating measures, including blocking the airport, and on Thursday they blocked the port of Larnaca.

Livestock farmers from all districts of Cyprus participated in the protest.
