Paphos: Concern over Removal of 2,000 Animals from Shelter
Share on:

Volunteers at the Paphos Animal Shelter have expressed concern about the impending removal of approximately 2,000 animals due to the closure of the shelter, which has been deemed illegal.

In a statement, the volunteers emphasized that these animals have found safety and care at the shelter, and many have been rescued from neglect, abuse, and abandonment.

The volunteers will hold a peaceful protest on November 14th at 10 a.m. outside the Paphos District Court.

The volunteers are calling on authorities and the public to halt the removal of the animals until suitable solutions are found, stressing that the welfare of the animals should be the top priority.
