Timi Beach to Get a Makeover by Summer 2026

A new, modern beach is expected to welcome visitors to Timi by the summer of 2026. The Municipality of Geroskipou has submitted a plan for 'Kathari' beach to the Central Beach Committee, in accordance with the Beach Protection Law.

The plan includes the allocation of various services and facilities. At the same time, a request has been submitted to the Department of Lands and Surveys for the opening of the public road to the beach.

In addition, the Municipality of Geroskipou has applied to the Turkish Cypriot Property Management Service for the lease of a 2650 sq.m. Turkish Cypriot plot for the creation of a refreshment area and organized parking. Pending approval, works are planned to improve the infrastructure.
