Hello Kitty Apfel Koniac Gelee Recall Due to Suffocation Risk

The Ministry of Health has announced a recall of Hello Kitty Apfel Koniac Gelee, branded by Sanrio Co. LTD. Tokyo, due to a potential suffocation risk for children.
According to the EU's Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), the product's texture, shape, and size may cause suffocation if swallowed by children.
The packaging contains 12 individual packages of 15 grams and has a best before date of 11/06/2026 (26.06.22B). The product originates from Japan.
Distribution companies in Cyprus have been informed and have begun the withdrawal process. The Ministry of Health urges consumers not to give the product to children and to return it to the stores where they purchased it.
