A new round of transfers within the Cyprus Police has been announced, following decisions made by the Chief of Police, Themistos Arnaoutis. The most significant changes involve police directorates, with Limassol seeing another change of director.

Specifically:

  • Police Officer A' Georgios Andreou Chininos is transferred from the position of Nicosia Director to the position of Director at Police Headquarters (YP.EG.E.).
  • Police Officer A' Markos Nikolettis takes over the Nicosia Directorate.
  • Deputy Police Officer B' Stefanos Terezopoulos is appointed Director at Police Headquarters (D.EP.&E.).
  • Deputy Police Officer B' Ioannis Kapnoullas is transferred to Larnaca as Assistant Director (D).
  • Deputy Police Officer B' Paraskevas Paraskeva remains in Famagusta as Assistant Director (D) & (E).
  • Stelios Aristeidou is appointed as the new Director of the Limassol Police Directorate, replacing Christos Mouis.
  • Christos Mouis takes over the Aliens and Immigration Service.
  • Thomas Hatzikyriakou moves to become the Director of the Financial Department.
  • Andreas Melanidis takes over as the Deputy Commander of YKAN.
