Clear Weather for Epiphany in Cyprus

Cyprus will experience clear weather for Epiphany, with sunshine and higher-than-normal temperatures, according to the Meteorological Service's forecast.

Meteorological Officer Andreas Chrysanthou told CNA that the weather until Wednesday will be mainly clear, with occasional increased cloud cover and a rise in temperature from Sunday until Epiphany.

No rain or thunderstorms are expected, as high-pressure conditions prevail on the island. Swimmers on Epiphany day will enjoy better temperatures and increased sunshine, with local cloudiness. Winds will be more favorable in Paphos, while stronger winds will occur on the other coasts, mainly east, north, and south, without causing particular problems.

After Wednesday, the weather may change. The latest weather bulletin from the Meteorological Service predicts that on Saturday afternoon the weather will be mainly cloudy, with light winds and calm to slightly choppy seas. Frost is expected in sheltered mountain areas.
