Farmers Protest Outside KOAP in Nicosia with Tractors

Agricultural Organizations of Cyprus (Enosi Kiprion Agrotikon, Panagrotiki Enosi Kiprou, Panagrotikos, Nea Agrotiki Kinisi, Evroagrotikos) will hold a protest event tomorrow, Monday, February 16, 2025, outside the central offices of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (KOAP) in Nicosia.

The gathering will begin at 10:00 AM at designated meeting points (GSP parking lot, Jumbo store parking lot on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, and Xenopoulos factory parking lot in Kokkinotrimithia). At 10:30 AM, a procession with tractors, private vehicles, and vans will follow towards the KOAP offices on Michael Koutsofta Street.

The organizers intend to remain indefinitely at the location until their demands are met. The event will be policed by the Nicosia Police Directorate and M.M.A.D. to ensure peaceful conduct and smooth traffic flow.

The Police urge participants to comply with police instructions, in accordance with the Public Gatherings and Processions Law 151(I) of 2025.
