Farmers Protest in Nicosia with Tractors

Cypriot agricultural organizations will hold a protest tomorrow, Monday, February 16, 2025, outside the central offices of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organization (CAPO) in Nicosia.

The gathering will begin at 10:00 AM at designated locations (GSP stadium parking, "Jumbo" store on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, "Xenopoulos" factory in Kokkinotrimithia). At 10:30 AM, a procession with tractors and other vehicles will follow towards the CAPO offices on Michael Koutsofta Street.

Organizers intend to remain indefinitely until their demands are met. The event will be policed to ensure its smooth conduct and traffic management.

Police have the authority to impose restrictions or even dissolve the gathering in case of law violations or danger to public order.
