Foot-and-Mouth Disease: Measures in Larnaca, Limassol, and Paphos

The Department of Agriculture has sent recommendations to local authorities and district administrations of Larnaca, Limassol, and Paphos for preventive measures against foot-and-mouth disease.

According to the instructions, two disinfection points with a wheel bath or automated system should be placed in each livestock area, one at the entrance and one at the exit.

The Ministry of Agriculture will cover the construction costs of the wheel baths, the specifications of which have already been sent to the Local Authorities.
