A. Michaelidou: Bridging School and Labor Market

The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, emphasized the importance of bridging the school framework with the labor market at the opening of the "Career 2026" event in Limassol.

As stated by the General Director of the Ministry, Marios Panagidis, the Minister highlighted the need to enhance academic qualifications with skills for the smooth integration of young people into the work environment. The Counseling and Career Guidance Service is considered a bridge between school and the labor market, equipping young people with the necessary skills.

This year's event, with the support of the Bank of Cyprus, includes presentations from professionals in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Medicine. The aim is to provide information on career paths and to emphasize the professional rehabilitation of young people in Cyprus.

"Career 2026" aims to inform interested parties about available career prospects from associations and labor market bodies.
