900 People from Occupied Areas Cross to Kokkina for Events

Approximately 900 people from the occupied areas crossed to Kokkina this morning for Turkish Cypriot events commemorating the bombings of Tillyria. The crossing occurred via the Limnitis checkpoint.

According to Andreas Karos, President of the Committee for the opening of the Tillyria checkpoints, the crossing took place in segments, escorted by the Police and the United Nations. Two coast guard vessels of the occupying regime also arrived in the area.

Turkish Cypriot leader, Ersin Tatar, and other officials of the pseudo-state arrived at the site by helicopters to lay wreaths at a memorial.
