13-year-old Hospitalized After School Fight in Paphos

A 13-year-old student was transferred to Makario Hospital for treatment after being injured in an altercation with a 15-year-old at a public secondary school in Paphos. The incident occurred during recess.

Initially, the 13-year-old visited the Accident and Emergency Department of Paphos General Hospital, where bruises and contusions were diagnosed. Due to feeling unwell and vomiting, it was deemed necessary to transfer him to Makario Hospital for precautionary reasons.

The student's father allegedly went to the school after the incident and threatened teachers, resulting in an arrest warrant being issued against him for illegal entry and threats. The parents claim they were not informed in time by the school administration.
