Theodoropoulos (SEV) – BusinessEurope: Letter to Mitsotakis on Competitiveness

SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises) and BusinessEurope have sent a joint letter to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, ahead of the informal meeting of EU leaders on February 12, focusing on strengthening European competitiveness.
In the letter, the President of the Board of Directors of SEV, Mr. Spyros Theodoropoulos, and the President of BusinessEurope, Mr. Fredrik Persson, emphasize the need for immediate and substantial policy interventions.
The joint European appeal focuses on five key policy axes: reducing energy prices, deepening the Single Market and reducing the regulatory burden, strengthening trade agreements, increasing investment and innovation, and strengthening employment and skills.
On February 5, a meeting took place in Brussels between the leaders of BusinessEurope and the corresponding national employers' organizations with the President of the European Commission, Ms. Ursula von der Leyen. The President of the Executive Committee of SEV, Ms. Rania Aikaterinari, participated in the meeting.
