Road Tax 2026: Payment Notices Available on AADE Platform

Payment notices for 2026 road tax have been posted on the AADE's myCAR platform. Vehicle owners can retrieve them using their personal credentials.

The payment deadline is December 31, 2025. Amounts remain unchanged compared to last year.

Fines: For late payment, fines start at 25% and go up to 100% of the amount. Specifically: 25% if paid in January, 50% in February, and 100% from March 1st onwards. The minimum fine is 30 euros.

The amount of the fees is calculated based on the first registration, engine capacity, and CO2 emissions. Different scales apply to vehicles registered before and after November 1, 2010, as well as after January 1, 2021.
