ATA Meeting: 'We Have a Way to Go,' Say OEB and KEBE

Representatives from employer organizations OEB and KEBE gave restrained statements after a meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social Insurance, Yannis Panayiotou, and the Minister of Finance, Makis Keravnos, regarding ATA. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Labor on Wednesday.

The General Director of KEBE, Filokypros Roussounides, stated that there are still many issues to be discussed and did not rule out the possibility of a new joint meeting of the executive committees of the two organizations, possibly with the Ministers on Friday.

The General Director of OEB, Michalis Antoniou, stressed that there are still differences and distance to be covered, calling the meeting 'useful.' He also pointed out the upcoming meeting of the two Ministers with the trade union movement.

Both sides await the next steps, with the OEB meeting to be informed and guided.
