Consumer Association: Price Evaluation on e-kalathi Published

The Cyprus Consumer Association has published its price evaluation on the e-kalathi, based on data collected between July 29 and August 3, 2025.

Out of 478 product codes in e-kalathi, 267 common codes were identified in the supermarkets Sklavenitis, Athienitis, Ioannidis, Metro, and Alfa Mega. These supermarkets have the most common products.

According to the comparison on July 29, 2025, the total cost of the 267 common products was: Sklavenitis €926.52, Athienitis €979.49, Ioannidis €1025.85, Metro €1047.76, and Alfa Mega €1049.87. Prices remained unchanged in the provinces.

On August 3, 2025, Alfa Mega had 89 products on offer, Athienitis 16, and Sklavenitis 2. The Consumer Association noted that many of Alfa Mega's offers were higher than the usual prices of Sklavenitis and Athienitis.

The Association assured that it will continue to monitor and publish its findings regarding prices on e-kalathi.
