Housing Programs: Loans and Beneficiaries

Approximately 12,500 beneficiaries are expected to acquire their own homes by 2026 through the "Spiti mou II" (My Home II) program and the expanded social housing program. These programs target young people, vulnerable social groups, public servants, and Armed Forces personnel.
According to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, the program's absorption rate has reached 65%, with €1.3 billion allocated for housing acquisition by 11,000 citizens.
The €700 million fund is expected to cover the housing needs of another 10,000 beneficiaries by May 31, 2026, following the extension and expansion of income criteria. The average cost of apartments ranges between €120,000 and €130,000.
Age and income criteria have been broadened, allowing individuals aged 25 to 50 with a minimum income of €10,000 to apply. Maximum income limits are €20,000 for single individuals, €28,000 for married couples (increasing by €4,000 per child), and €31,000 for single-parent families (plus €5,000 per child beyond the first).
The maximum loan amount is €190,000, covering up to 90% of the property value. The loan term ranges from 3 to 30 years.
Additionally, 2,500 homes are expected from the renovation of public buildings, which will be allocated through the social housing program, targeting vulnerable groups, public servants, and Armed Forces personnel.
